Production
Timeline
Our
production lead time for new orders has
increased to approximately 6-7 weeks
plus transit time.
Please
note we are working to hit exact ship dates of current orders but ALL orders
are trending to be approximately 3 business days delayed. All products are made to order; we do not have an
inventory of stock.
Why the delay? Our goal has always
been to keep the production timeline to a minimum in the short summer months.
We’ve had two CNC machines running 24/7 since March with extra shifts and
hiring of assembly staff. Our production capacity is basically at a max as we
work to keep up with a year-to-date
growth of over 30% over last year. Specifically, our growth in May 2014
along was a whopping 85+% over May 2013.
Please know that we are working on
some changes that will significantly help. In the next few months we are moving
to a new production facility here in Duluth, which is very close to our current
home, which will house both Loll office and production team. Our brand-new CNC
machine will increase our capacity and the increased space (30,000 sq ft) will
now allow us to handle our current and future growth.
I just have to give our production
team the kudos they deserve. We are fortunate to have an incredible and
experienced production team who continually turn around our hand-crafted
products, with a QC percentage of only 1% of total sales. Further, the average
length of time a production employee of Loll has been here is over 4 years!

Clean Yer Creek - Keene Creek Clean up & Tree Planting
Starting in 2008, Loll Designs staff have taken a field day each year and
gone out to plant trees. All of us here at Good Sheet Companies are concerned
with keeping our environment not only vibrant, but clean, healthy and beautiful
too. We try to find places that are in need of clean-up and watershed
restoration in an effort to protect the ecosystem connected to our beloved Lake
Superior.
This year, we were particularly excited to not only team up with local
business Bent Paddle Brewing and Involta but also to focus on a green
space in our own backyard: the Keene Creek. On June 1 a total of 24 volunteers
spent over four hours cleaning up 900 pounds (that’s right!) of garbage. A
total of 20 trees were also planted and fenced.
The event concluded by rewarding the volunteers with the tasty beverages
crafted – with Lake Superior water, of course – by Bent Paddle Brewing.
Returns/Cancellation Policy
- New orders can be cancelled within 1 business day with no fee.
- After this time, a 20% restocking fee (of list price) will be applied.
- Unshipped orders will also receive a 20% restocking fee (of list price).
- Returned orders will receive a 20% restocking fee (of list price). You must contact Loll Designs within 10 days of receipt of item. Before returning an item, please contact sales@lolldesigns.com to obtain return instructions.
- Your customer is responsible for the return shipment costs. Items returned must be in their original condition, unassembled in their original packing, complete with all tags, instructions, and inserts. The return must be post-marked within 10 days of receiving the item. Depending on the condition of how the product is returned also depends on the refund amount - it could exceed 20% if returned in poor condition.

We were excited to have our first full-page ad in the May Dwell ad and will have another full-page ad in the July/Aug issue. We continue to advertise in the Dwell Modern Market for most issues.
