Many, many updates and Sharon out of office for a bit...

Thank you for visiting the Retail HUB! Our current updates are:

• Reminder that shipping costs go in effect on Feb 1. We will add 7% of the list price to the order. Please note this 7% charge is greatly subsidized from our actual FedEx/UPS shipping charges. Also – please take note on the price sheet what products qualify for pallet-only shipping and must be quoted on a case-by-case basis by Loll. Most products ship FedEx ground but some products weighing more than 60 pounds ship UPS ground. You will get automatic tracking information either way.

• The 2012 price sheet will be uploaded to the Retail HUB on Feb 1 and effective then. Reminder that you must sell our products for our MSRP price. If you want to run your own promotion, please let us know in advance. Independent promotions not run by Loll cannot be promoted online but products cannot be sold online.

• New products! Most of them will be on the new price sheet and launched online in February. Our just-released Lago has already sold well. The next chair we will launch is called the Deck Chair – co-designed with Brendan Ravenhill and quite the cozy number you slide right into (complete w/a bottle opener underneath the right arm).   
• We are working on a design for an independent retailer-only Adirondack product (would not even be available on lolldesigns.com). We hope to share details on this with you soon.
• Coming soon... We are working to improve the information on the Press Page (linked from the Retail HUB). ALL products will soon have downloadable images in every color. New products to be highlighted there too.

• Quality control – if you ever experience a damaged or defective piece, contact us with the details and we will work to fix ASAP. Pictures are much appreciated and greatly help us expedite the fix.

• The 2012 marketing plan is in the works. I will communicate promotions, new POP options, etc in February.

• On that note…numbers are in and looks like Loll has now repurposed over 18 million milk jugs since 2005. Thank you for being part of that number!

New Loll Lago and Updated Product Features Information

Hi all –

We have a new addition to our line! Introducing…the Loll Lago. Sitting at a taller height (12.75”) this lounger is a cozy, extra-wide size. Wine lovers will like the little niche on each side to hold a glass.

It’ll be listed on future price sheets and cut sheets, but for now please utilize the information on lolldesigns.com. The list price is $496/wholesale $248. The SKU for the Lago is: LG-LAGO-(color).

Also – we’ve updated the “Product Features” tab, which is underneath the large image of each product on lolldesigns.com. This gives a good overview of everything from our material, to our UV statement (which is also given if the sun icon in that same area is clicked), to our hardware. This information could be helpful to share with your customers. We will also post this on the Retail HUB soon.

Shipping Fee and Price Increase - Effective Feb 1

Effective February 1, we will be adding a nominal shipping charge to all orders. 7% of the list price will be applied for all products. The oversized shipping fee that we currently have will be discontinued (those products will get the straight 7% charge) but orders that ship on a pallet must still be charged on a case-by-case basis. Most Loll products will continue to ship FedEx ground. Some oversized items will continue to ship via UPS.

Please note this 7% charge is greatly subsidized from our actual FedEx/UPS shipping costs.This charge will go into effect on lolldesigns.com on Jan 11 but will not go in effect for independent retailers until Feb 1.

Also effective February 1 is a product price increase. As soon as the updated price sheets are completed, I will let you all know.

Last, please be aware that we are upgrading to a new software system, MAS; Sales Order confirmations will look different.
